What would be your strongest traits?
I love talking to people! I would say communication and translating legal jargon into simple language is my strength, followed by my attention to detail and having a good technical knowledge of conveyancing. I have 20+ years’ experience in the industry.
What sets you apart from other conveyancing Paralegals?
I am interested in more than just the technical conveyance for my clients.
I am also interested in:-
- making sure my clients take advantage of all relevant concessions available;
- knowing your end game so that you receive correct advice;
- making sure my clients avoid unnecessary costs;
- feedback for continuous improvement; and
- generally looking after your interests.
What’s the most important part of conveyancing to ensure success?
My clients place trust in their Conveyancer to carry out what is arguably one of the most important and expensive transactions in their lifetime. It is paramount that my clients’ legal rights are protected. This means that the conveyancing process must be carried out with attention to detail, rock solid processes and appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
What involvement do you have in your community?
I hold the office of Commissioner for Declarations, of which I provide a volunteer after-hours service.
What are your hobbies/interests?
I enjoy reading, listening to and attending live music, comedy shows and events. I am passionate about supporting small, local businesses and you will often see me at the weekend markets sourcing fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables from our local growers. Spending time with and cooking for my family and friends is something that I cherish and love to do. I also love going to the movies, travelling and enjoying a nice meal/coffee at the many restaurants, cafes and coffee shops in our region.

Megan was professional, but at the same time personal, therefore making communicating very easily. Megan was available after hours which made life much easier for us not being able to make contact in normal working hours. We had a couple of small hiccups with settlement, but Megan handled everything professionally with no stress. Communication was perfect as we were informed of everything along the way. Awesome work.
