Welcome to bytherules Hervey Bay – Maryborough. My name is Erin Gunson and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to become your personal conveyancer.

I understand that you have choice when it comes to the conveyancing of your purchase, sale or transfer, so I do not take for granted the opportunity to work with you, the real estate, broker, your bank and others when it comes to successfully running your matter. As someone who takes pride in their work, you can take comfort in knowing you are in safe hands when you allow me to work on your team. Open communication, identifying risk/s, and working efficiently on your transaction is most important to me.

Having lived collectively in Hervey Bay for over 10 years, I have watched the changes to the property market, Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounds are fast becoming a destination of choice for many Australians to both bring their young families and also retire. You are making the right choice when you choose me to represent you in what is possibly one of the biggest transactions of your life. What sets me apart from some of the other local firms is that I am trained in and solely passionate about: Residential sales, purchase and transfers, Retirement Villages.

Outside of conveyancing, I am involved with and contribute to my local and broader community through various volunteer positions. Things about me that most people do not know – my ride is a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 – enjoy playing guitar and piano – and above all, spending precious time with my family and friends.

What would be your strongest traits?
The feedback I have received over the years has been that I am an excellent communicator, have good listening skills and take a lot of pride in my work.

What sets you apart from other conveyancing Paralegals
Clients have told me that the experience they have had with me has been completely different to prior experiences, they say I am able to make the process easy to understand, keep them well informed by actively communicating with them along the way, and make them feel like they are my only client.

What developments are you excited about in your territory?
Hervey Bay and Maryborough are fast becoming the place to move to, not just for retirees but also young families, couples and the like. I’ve lived here since before traffic lights were here, it’s very exciting to see the growth over the time. What has remained the same is the strong focus on community, giving us a sense of pride of where we live. Watch this space as there is more to come for the Hervey Bay – Maryborough region! It is certainly the place to be!

What’s the most important part of conveyancing to ensure success?
After being a client myself buying and selling property over the time before becoming a conveyancer myself – I think the most important part of the conveyancing process is communication! Making sure that I stay one step ahead and communicating to all the parties involved in the transaction where we are at and what the next steps are.

What involvement do you have in your community?
My family are involved in the local Girl Guides group and Australian Rules football club – previously involved with Apex Australia – a service organisation. Contributing to our local and wider community is something that is ingrained into us, we will never stop volunteering and supporting our local groups and clubs.

What are your hobbies/interests?
Riding my motorcycle, playing guitar and piano, travelling with my family, running around after my two very active Silky Terriers and reading!
